Gmail is really wonderful. The interface is excellent! Gmail has completely changed the way webmail works. It relies heavily on javascript and loads extremely fast. The concept of labels takes a while to understand but once you get used to it, it really simplifies the whole webmail experience. However I don't like everything about Gmail. The Contacts feature is very rudimentary. They recently introduced import and export which is good, but what I reaaly want is just one contacts list anywhere I go. I want to maintain my contacts on my PDA, and then synchronize them with my Outlook 2003 on my laptop and then also synchronize my Outlook Contacts with the web based mail services. I know Yahoo! does that well. I do have a Hotmail account, but the service is so slow that I never even bother to check my mail in my Hotmail account. I use Yahoo! regularly. But off late I have switched to using Gmal semi-exclusively. I am slowly moving over to gmail from Yahoo! and may be eventually use Yahoo! as a spare email.
